BAKING BOSSES PROGRAM

MERIAS CAKES & CO.

School Partnership Program with Merias Cakes & Co:

Merias Baking Bosses Program is a hands-on, 10-week enrichment course designed to introduce students to the creative and practical world of baking, pastry design, and entrepreneurship. This program is built specifically for schools looking to provide engaging, skill-based learning opportunities that combine creativity, life skills, and career exploration.

Through interactive lessons, students learn the fundamentals of baking, cake decorating, and pastry design while developing important skills such as patience, problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork. Each week builds on the last, guiding students from basic baking techniques to creating their own custom cake designs.

Beyond the kitchen, the program also introduces students to the basics of entrepreneurship. Students learn how creative talents can translate into real financial opportunities, including how to price their creations, present their work, and understand the value of their skills.

By the end of the 10 weeks, students will have:

  • Learned foundational baking and decorating techniques

  • Designed and created their own custom cakes or pastries

  • Developed confidence in their creativity and abilities

  • Gained insight into how culinary skills can become a business or career path

This program supports schools in expanding enrichment offerings, encouraging creativity, and exposing students to hands-on career pathways in the culinary and creative arts industries.
