KAY MATHEWS ENTERPRISES INC

Kay Mathews Enterprises alongside 16 Athletics operates under the mission of offering mentorship, afterschool recreation,
counseling and therapy to adolescent teens who have been affected by gun violence, gang
violence, and/or domestic violence. As well as adolescents’ teens who are in foster care.
16 Athletics aims to foster a commitment to teens and young adolescents to promote and
encourage social engagement and friendships. Interpersonal skills as well as reassuring a strong
sense of hope for the future.
Our mission, our goal, our intention is to provide a safe, caring, inclusive environment to support
their interests. To build personal respect and self-love. Instill in them that their future matters.
Their lives matter. They have a purpose and place in this world.
16 Athletics will form partnerships and/or become a liaison for middle and high schools,
alternative schools. Along with youth shelters or group homes and juvenile systems. Our focus is
wanting teens and adolescents to re-establish or regain a sense of responsibility. To regain
confidence and self-worth to empower them follow through on a path to adulthood with pride
and accomplishments.

The youths of today have lost faith and essentially given up on their futures. Their futures of
endless possibilities because repeated failures in the classroom, in their households. The
development of destructive behavior and habits. Lack of mental support.
The center will service the quickly growing number of youths that are being failed by the system
and falling through the cracks. Kids who were failed by the judicial system, their families. The
mission and goal is to support and guide these kids that are facing these challenges and
problems. Assist them with the turbulent transition into adulthood. Encourage them to take
charge of their life’s and understand that they can make the necessary changes to have a
successful future.

Our mission statement articulates the organizations rationale, providing clarity about its core
purpose and the specific needs to be met and delivered to the community. We will strive to
inspire and motivate out employees and well as our donors and board members. Reminding
everyone of the importance and the impact of the services we will provide.
We can ensure that the organization maintains a strategic focus on this vision and its target
population with a combination of leadership, communication, and strategic management
practices. Aligning our organization’s strategic goals with our day-to-day activities with our
vision. Along with regularly assessing our programs and initiatives to ensure that directly
contribute to the overall mission and making changes if needed.

Collecting and utilizing data and performance metrics to inform decision-making, and adjust
strategies based on collected data and feedback. This will ensure that the resources are
directed to the initiatives that are the most effective in achieving our vision.
We will also prioritize resource allocation based on the organization’s financial priorities. We
will ensure budgetary decisions align with our vision and directing financial resources toward
programs and initiatives that have the greatest impact on our target population.
